SNAP through its Joint Venture with Ventech, Inc., won a GSA 8(a) STARS III Contract, a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract engineered to provide cutting-edge technology solutions from award-winning 8(a) small businesses to federal agencies. The current contract term is one five-year base period, plus one 3-year option period, which began upon award in July 2021.

Contract Scope

The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services (STARS) III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) – known as “STARS III”, is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract to provide information technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions. Ventech/SNAP Joint Venture is a prime contractor for the GSA STARS III Master Contract for both the General IT Services Scope, as well as the Emerging Technology Scope. We provide services for both the Defense and Federal Civilian sectors. Features of the GSA STARS III Contract are:

  • Best-In-Class contract
  • $50 Billion contract ceiling with a five-year base period and one (1) three-year option period
  • Ability to sole-source or competitively award within the 8(a) program
  • Supports contract types for Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and Labor Hour
  • Contract Ordering Period: July 2, 2021 to July 1, 2026, plus one 3-year option period
  • Directed task orders up to $4.5 million each 8(a) STARS III allows directed task order awards for orders under $4.5 million, including options.
